Who We Are
The Crop Project is an ingredient supplier devoted to making regenerative crops useful. We are starting with U.S. grown seaweed - the ultimate regenerative supercrop.
Together these crops have a compounding, beneficial effect on everything they touch, from the water and soil in which they are grown, to the community that farms them, to the health of the consumer. The key is empowering small farms by distributing profits more equitably across the supply chain.
That's why we are building the regional infrastructure to support small farms by refining and commercializing what they grow, beginning with Atlantic Sugar Kelp, and building scale and trust among farmers, market partners, and regulators.
"To cherish what remains of the earth and to foster its renewal is our only legitimate hope of survival."

Our Mission
Our mission is to draw down carbon, restore soil and waters, support small farms, and unlock the potential of regenerative agriculture.
For too long we have taken for granted the cyclical nature of our planet, and our own power within it. What we farm, how we farm, and who farms matters very much. To do right by our planet is to do right by our neighbors and ourselves. We have not only history, but modern tools and a movement to back us up.
We are just getting started, but we are in this business for the long run. And we invite you to join us.
